The beach at Saltcoats, close to the house and a great place when the weather is good, when it looks like this, there is usually only a few of us, we rarely meet anyone except the coastguard doing there rounds. They are usually satisfied that we know what we are doing, are all dressed appropriately and have adequate means of contacting help.
